The Holidays are in full swing and that means it is time to dress the part. Whether you have a holiday gathering to attend, or just like feeling “in the spirit” in class or at work, little touches to your outfit can put you in the holiday mood (that and maybe some pimpkin pie or a gingerbread latte? I’ll take it!)
Below are some of my picks for staying festive with your accesories!
Spirited heels are a must for the Holiday parties in winter, I love going glittery, red, and ruffely for the season! Possibly all three at once!
1) Sparkle Pumps, Piperlime (available in a very glam white version as well)
2) Red Ruffle Heels, TopShop
3) Ruffle Booties, Piperlime
4) Jessica Simpson Red Pumps, Piperlime
5) Black Glam Bow Pumps, Asos.com
Another great way to spice up your outfits with some holiday flair is to wear gold jewelry, add jewels and bows to a simple outfit (like a black sweater, or long sleeve tee and knee high boots) to jazz things up. Something about sparkling jewelry shouts holiday cheer!

2) Disney Couture “Believe” Ring, Asos.com
3) Schmuck Ketten, Armb Ring, Asos.com
4) Lion Cameo Heart Stud Earrings, Asos.com
5) Stella Bracelet, Forever21.com
Headbands, (especially ones that glitter and shine, or have gold accenting) are a great way to add festivity to an outfit. Go with something simple for the rest of your outfit and use a headband to draw attention to your face and hair, or use a headband to amplify an already festive outfit.

A few more holiday favorites of mine? I have a bit of an obsession with leather gloves with extra details, makes me slightly sad LA will never be cold enough to justify these…but only slightly sad. Gold (extra points for beaded) belts, are a fab way to make a dress a bit snazzier, or to wear with a long sleeve top tucked into jeans. I am also dying over giant scarves that double as capes (maybe even a blanket?) so much so that they may deserve their own post. (Soon!) Lastly, tights are fantastic for holiday parties, but even better with a little glitter or shimmer!

2) Deena and Ozzy’s belt, Urban Outfitters
3) Giant Sweater/Scarf, Urban Outfitters
4) Glitter tights, TopShop (Urban Outfitters also carries a few amazing pairs)
